This is just a place for me to store and comment on things I see and experience. There will be a slant towards running, strategy and other things that I find interesting but with the added bonus bad spelling and typos to keep you guessing.

Adjacent storytelling

I am fascinated by adjacent story telling at the moment. Here’s a nice definition from Gavin Heaton:

“Adjacent storytelling is not about naming your brand. The adjacent story is there – the one that you see out of the corner of your eye. It’s the story that stays with you long after you have forgotten the wording. It’s the feeling that reminds you that your experience is not singular and that we are connected more by our commonalities than by our differences.”

The video above is a great example of adjacent story telling, it’s been happening for a while. It would be nice to break this down when I have time. What does it take to make adjacent story telling work in the digital ecosystem?
